About the Author

The 12 Bad Dates Before Christmas is the recipient of the

Literary Titan Silver Book Award.

Neri Lopez is a two-time Global Book Awards winner for Red Path
(Romance–Action & Adventure), and Deputy Sean (Romance–Suspense).
Her novel, Detective Lucian, earned the Literary Titan Gold Book Award
and the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award.

She has worn many creative hats—stay-at-home mom to triplets, graphic designer, and high school teacher of Spanish, 2D art, and Digital Design. She lives in Florida with her husband, their two rescued cats, Salem and Sabrina, along with two puppies, Biscuit and Benny. A versatile crafter, Neri enjoys crocheting, knitting, jewelry making, and painting. She frequently sells her crochet pieces at local craft shows.

Neri is also the owner of Siren Book & Craft, a name that nods to both her love of myth and her own full name, Nereida, meaning “Greek mermaids” and forming “siren” when her nickname is spelled in reverse (plus an ‘s’).

She began writing The Path Series over thirty years ago. After taking time away to raise her triplets, she returned to the world she’d created, inspired by her respect for the Oglala Lakota people and culture.
